Iraq Tours Information

Iraq was through the worst over the past years. It is still sacred for the Arbeen and most of the tourists belonging to the Shia community visit there in the Islamic holy month of Safar to commute their presence to the grandson of Prophet Muhammad PBUH on his 40th day of martyrdom.

Iraq is known to be an exceptionally ancient country that holds tremendous importance in Islamic religious history, made further evident by the number of Muslim followers who travel annually to visit some of the most sacred sites including Kerbala, Baghdad, and Najaf as just a few notable examples. The country’s cultural heritage is particularly evident in two key cities: Basra, a major port city; and Baghdad, the capital and largest city. Karbala and Najaf are sacred cities of Shia for the shrines of Imam Hussain and Imam Ali respectively. Kufa and Kadhimayn are ancient religious cities, containing the shrines of two Shia Imams among others, which make Iraq a major pilgrimage destination.
